AVATAR - THE RIFT - Comic Book Series from Avatar: The Last Airbender

Avatar - The Rift is a new upcoming comic-book trilogy series based on the storyline from Avatar: The Last Airbender. The Rift Part 1 will be releasing on March 5, 2014.

A sequel series to The Search comic-books (which is a continuation of The Promise), this series is said to focus on Aang and the process of creating Republic City. Additionally, Toph will also share a main-role, who was absent from The Search trilogy.

The Rift will be written by Gene Yang, an award-winning comic-book author. The illustrations will be done by Gurihiru and publications will be completed by Dark Horse Comics.
